Hearty Turkey & Red Bean Chili
We here love all the different types of chili. Beef, turkey, chicken, beans or no beans, spicy or mild, it does not matter. Chili is a simply such a tasty, comforting, and versatile meal. This is my go-to recipe for turkey chili with red beans. It is easy, delicious, and quick to throw together. This recipe calls for red beans but feel free to substitute for black, white, pinto, or any other beans.

Ingredients
- 1 Lbs Ground Turkey
- 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 Ea Onion Peeled and Diced
- 3-4 Ea Garlic Cloves Minced
- 2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 2 tsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Dried Oregano
- 1 Tbsp Cumin Ground
- 3 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
- 2 Cans Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes (Do not drain)
- 2 Cans Drained Red Beans
- 1/2 Cup Chicken Stock (If Needed)
- Serving suggestions Sliced Avocado, Chopped Cilantro, Sour Cream, Shredded Cheddar, Sliced Jalapeno.
Instructions
- Heat a stock pot over medium high heat and add oil and ground turkey. Cook Turkey until browned about 5-7 minutes.
- Add diced onion and cook until soften about about 4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and spices cook until fragrant about 1-2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, beans, and chicken stock and lower heat to medium low.
- Simmer covered for 30-40 minutes.
- Once done serve with our your favorite choice of toppings such as: Sliced Avocado, Chopped Cilantro, Sour Cream, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Sliced Jalapeno.
