Easy & Simple Turkey Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 Lbs Ground Turkey
  • 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 1 Ea Onion Peeled and Diced
  • 3-4 Ea Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tbsp Cumin Ground
  • 3 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 Cans Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes (Do not drain)
  • 2 Cans Drained Red Beans
  • 1/2 Cup Chicken Stock (If Needed)
  • Serving suggestions Sliced Avocado, Chopped Cilantro, Sour Cream, Shredded Cheddar, Sliced Jalapeno.

Instructions

  • Heat a stock pot over medium high heat and add oil and ground turkey. Cook Turkey until browned about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add diced onion and cook until soften about about 4 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and spices cook until fragrant about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, beans, and chicken stock and lower heat to medium low.
  • Simmer covered for 30-40 minutes.
  • Once done serve with our your favorite choice of toppings such as: Sliced Avocado, Chopped Cilantro, Sour Cream, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Sliced Jalapeno.
