One Pot Penne Pasta With Sausage

One Pot Weeknight Penne Pasta with Sausage
Ingredients
- 1 lbs Penne pasta
- 1 lbs Hot Italian sausage If using links take out of casing
- 1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt optional
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 ea Yellow or white onion
- 4 ea Garlic cloves peeled and chopped
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan grated
- 2 cups Chopped spinach
Instructions
- Cook Pasta according to package directions, save 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Brown sausage and then add chopped onion and cook until soften.
- Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted and add garlic and spices
- Add cream and pasta heat until warmed then add parmesan and heat until thickened. Serve and enjoy.
