- 1 lbs Penne pasta
- 1 lbs Hot Italian sausage If using links take out of casing
- 1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt optional
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 ea Yellow or white onion
- 4 ea Garlic cloves peeled and chopped
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan grated
- 2 cups Chopped spinach
Cook Pasta according to package directions, save 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
Brown sausage and then add chopped onion and cook until soften.
Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted and add garlic and spices
Add cream and pasta heat until warmed then add parmesan and heat until thickened. Serve and enjoy.
