Brussel Sprouts And Bacon
Ingredients
- 1 lbs Brussel Sprouts halved
- 12 oz Bacon thick cut
- To Taste Salt and Ground black Pepper optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Slice bacon into bite size pieces (about 1/4 to 1 inch) and render in pan until bacon starts to crisp around the edges about five mins.
- Toss halved brussels sprouts with rendered bacon/fat and black pepper and place on sheet tray with parchment paper.
- Bake at 375 for 20-25 mins or until desired doneness .
- Taste for saltiness and add more salt if desired. Depending on the bacon, there is a good chance no additional salt is needed.
- Serve with your favorite main dish and enjoy!
Would recommend a thick cut bacon for this recipe, as thinner bacon might burn before the brussels sprouts are fully cooked. Feel free to try different flavors of bacon with this dish, have found jalapeno bacon to be very delicious in this dish.
